Code of Conduct

1. Every student should be courteous and behave in a dignified manner with fellow students, teachers, school staff and visitors. He should always be kind, patient, honest, law obedient and humble. (Use of the words like Please, Thank you, Sorry, Excuse me etc. is appreciable).

2. Any kind of rowdyism, rude behaviour, intimidation, eve-teasing, foul language, violence, quarrels/ fights inside or outside the school, any unlawful activity, use of drugs or alcohol, tobacco, smoking, vulgarity, racism, ragging, bullying, cyber-bullying, insubordination, loitering, inappropriate disturbance to classes, disruption of lesson/activity, theft/pilferage of school property etc. shall result in strict disciplinary action which could result in suspension or expulsion from school with a negative Conduct Certificate.

3. Students must not tolerate any violence, harassment, bullying or cyber bullying etc. and must bring into the notice of the class teacher/ the wing incharge immediately in case of any such occurences.

4. Nurture the beauty of classrooms and school premises. Any damage to and/or scribbling on the school property including furniture, fixtures, lab apparatuses, music equipments, electrical and sanitary fittings and disfiguring of wall paints, tiles, stone fixtures, buses etc. is strictly prohibited. The student shall be liable to compensate for the replacement of the same with new material.

5. Students must not waste water and electricity. Switch off lights, fans, projectors, ACs and other appliances while leaving classrooms, labs etc. Keep the water taps of washrooms and drinking areas closed while not in use, and report any leakages to the respective class teacher.

6. Students must not join any social media platform/s or website/s, gaming and other online platform/s (other than meant for educational purposes only). Making groups on social media platforms/ sending any unwanted messages to fellow students, teachers or any stakeholder of the institution, or any other unwanted online act shall result in suspension or expulsion from school with a negative Conduct Certificate, and/or legal action depending upon gravity of the instance.

7. Students must be regular, punctual, attentive and obedient. Absence from classes without the permission of the class teacher/ the wing incharge/ the Principal, irregularity in attendance and homework, academic dishonesty, persistent disobedience, or being wilfully mischievous may result in permanent/temporary suspension from school.

8. Students should be punctual and reach school five minutes before the school starts. No student is allowed on campus more than 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. It is parents' utmost responsibility to observe the same for their child’s safety.

9. Any unexplained absence for five consecutive days or more shall render a student liable to have his name struck off from the register. Re-admission may be granted at the sole discretion of the Principal on payment of fresh admission fee of 2500/- (non-refundable and non-adjustable).

10. Students should appear in all Periodic/ Term/ Annual tests and examinations. Students, who do not take Periodic/Term tests, exams or who are not able to secure 75% attendance during the course of academic session, shall not be allowed to appear in Annual examination. Any student attempting malpractice/ using unfair means/ found guilty in connection with the examination/s may be expelled permanently from the school.

11. Students must come to school on time every day, in proper uniform with bags managed as per the timetable. No student shall leave the school premises before the last bell. In case of an emergency, Gate-pass/ written permission from the Wing Incharge/ Principal must be secured before leaving the campus. No student shall remain on campus/ in classroom after the last bell.

12. The students are not allowed to come to school in fancy hairstyle, loose/ open hair, stylish braids/ bands and make up. Wearing jewellery, expensive watches, bracelets etc. and bringing undesirable pictures & books, firecrackers, lighters, match boxes, Holi colours/ balloons, scissors, steel rulers, memory cards, video games, pen drives, CDs, cameras, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, ipods and other electronic gadgets, laser pointers etc. to school is prohibited.

13. Students must take care of their belongings like books, notebooks, stationery, sweater, blazer, belt, cap etc...; the school shall not be responsible for any loss.

14. Students are expected to be in the best of their abilities at all times. They should move quietly and orderly in the school. They should refrain from littering and keep the school campus spick and span. All the students shall converse in English in the school premises and attend the classes disciplinarily.

15. Bringing acquaintance (anyone other than parents/ guardian, carrying authorisation certificate from parent) or unauthorised articles e.g. weapons, sharp instruments, knife or other such objects, which can cause injury to others, are strictly prohibited.

16. Social gatherings and functions involving fellow students must not be organised without the Principal's approval in written. This applies to all picnics, excursions, outings, parties, functions etc. Anybody, who organises or takes part in such unauthorised activities, shall be liable to strict disciplinary action.

17. For safety and security, students must not carry any money other than the required petty cash, ( 50/- maximum), without specific written notice/ permission from the school.

18. No student is allowed to drive scooter, motorbike, car or any other motor vehicle to school. The students must not ride the bicycle in the school campus.

19. Students are instructed not to play in the classroom or use cricket bat, baseball bat, hockey stick, basketball, football etc. , except on playground as per the designated/ allowed schedule, if any. The cost of repairs caused by damage to school property shall be compensated by the defaulters.

20. Lending/ borrowing money or any other article, is against school rules.

21. The rule of good behaviour, discipline and decorum applies inside as well as outside the school as it reflects the image of the school.

22. Any student, who is persistently insubordinate/ is repeatedly or wilfully mischievous/ is guilty of malpractice in connection with examinations/ has committed an act of serious indiscipline/ or misbehaviour, or who in the opinion of the Head of the Institution, has a noxious influence on his fellow pupils, may be expelled permanently or rusticated with negative Conduct Certificate from the school.

NOTE: Any misconduct or non-compliance of the aforementioned rules may result in expulsion from the school or termination with negative Conduct Certificate or rustication depending on the gravity of misconduct. The Principal's decision shall be binding in all the matters.
