UNDERTAKING

Parents/ Guardians solemnly affirm and declare as under:

1. That the date of birth, spellings of names and all other details furnished in this form are correct to the best of my/our knowledge and belief. I/We shall not request for any change later on.

2. Parents/ Guardians have read the code of student conduct, guidelines for parents written in this form/ information brochure/ website/ prospectus of the school and hereby agree to strictly abide by the same.

3. Parents/ Guardians further understand that prospectus and guidelines in the booklet are not a detailed document of rules, regulations and educational programmes. The school reserves the right to delete/ change the contents at any time without prior notice and the same shall be applicable to me/us.

4. Parents/ Guardians shall deposit all the fee as per schedule and shall not claim back any fees/charges once deposited even if my/our child leaves the school during the session or he/she is expelled from the school on disciplinary or any other  grounds.

5. Parents/ Guardians understand that fee structure is regularly reviewed and I/we agree to pay the fees of my/our child according to the increased fee structure as prescribed from time to time. I/ We also certify that my/our financial status is good enough to bear the rising expense of education of my/our child in this school. I/We shall never demand any concession etc.

6. Parents/ Guardians understand to agree that Registration fee and all other fees and dues, deposited through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/other online modes, will normally reach the school account after one working day. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the fee is deposited in time. Shiva Shiksha Sadan shall not be responsible for any delay in the receipt of the fee payment due to any reason beyond its control. The school shall not be responsible if the payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.

7. Parents/ Guardians understand to agree that school shall not be responsible for any direct/ special/ incidental/ indirect/ consequential loss or damage, whatsoever, which may arise or be connected with Payment Gateway Services or Bank or any Third Party. It is the sole responsibility of parents to be careful against any negligent act or omission or misconduct or fraud or any hacking or lapse in security in relation to the E-Commerce platform, Software Application, Bank's platform; the school shall not be responsible for any claim, loss or damage arising out of this, whatsoever.

8. Parents/ Guardians remain legally responsible for any personal action(s) taken by the child.

9. Parents/ Guardians indemnify on my/our child’s or heir’s/successor’s behalf and pledge to hold harmless and defend Shiva Shiksha Sadan, its officers, directors, employees and management or representatives associated in routine/during some event/tours and excursions from any claim arising from or in connection with my child attending the school/event/tours and excursions or in connection with any illness or injury(including death) or cost of medical treatment in connection therewith and I/we agree to compensate Shiva Shiksha Sadan, its officers, directors, employees and management or representatives for responsible legal fees and expenses which they may incur in any action brought against them as a result of such injury or damage.

10. Parents/ Guardians allow to take photographs/videos during the child's complete stay in school/ during any activity/ functions or otherwise and use the same in any print/social media related to the school during and after the stay of my/our child here.

11. Parents/ Guardians shall ensure that our child will not have Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or any other social media account. Misuse/ Creation of groups/ Harassment/ Intimidation/ Undesired proposals and/or messages to fellow students, teachers etc. on any social media platform shall lead to strict disciplinary action against the child.

12. Parents/ Guardians understand that the change of subject/section is not permissible.

13. Parents/ Guardians shall remain solely responsible for the safety of the children on their way from home to school and vice-versa. Neither the Management nor the Principal nor the teachers shall be held responsible incase of any mishap.

14. Parents/ Guardians understand to agree that if the child falls sick and/or gets hurt/injured/meets with an accident in school or on school conveyance or on excursions etc., the school shall only provide first-aid to the child. School fee does not include any  insurance or medical charges.

15. Parents/ Guardians assure that we shall pick up the child timely for further treatment. I/We shall not hold the school responsible to bear any cost or expense of the treatment.

16. Parents/ Guardians undertake not to carry any potential weapon (licensed or unlicensed)/ drug related item (unless medically prescribed with proof provided)/ untoward picture or book or magazine/ jewellery/ accessory/ firecracker/ lighter or matchbox/mobile phone/CD/IPod/ pendrive/ tablet/ laptop/ blade/ cutter/ knife in the school campus by us/my/our child/guardian etc.

17. Parents/ Guardians undertake to behave politely, humbly with the teachers, school authorities and the staff members. Strict action shall be taken against parents/guardians if they misbehave/argue or verbally intimidate the school authorities/teachers/the staff. This may result in expulsion of the child from the school.

18. Parents/ Guardians, to the best of my knowledge, declare that child is in good health and has not been exposed to any infectious disease. I/We will inform the concerned Head/Principal if the child is exposed to any communicable disease during the complete stay of my/our child.

19. Parents/ Guardians in case of emergency, while we are not available for consultation, authorise the nurse or the doctor selected by the school representatives for consultation to hospitalise, secure proper treatment or to order anesthesia or surgery or any other procedure  for my/our child.

20. Parents/ Guardians understand that if any of the above information is found to be incomplete/incorrect or false at any stage, my/our child shall be automatically debarred from the selection/admission process without any correspondence; the admission shall stand cancelled. 

21. Parents/ Guardians also understand that the application / registration / shortlisting does not guarantee admission to my/our child. I/We accept the process of admission undertaken by the school and I/we shall abide by the decision taken by the school authorities.

22. Parents/ Guardians also understand and agree that in all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the school authorities shall be final and binding.

23. Parents/ Guardians undertake to agree that the school reserves rights to change any of the information/ rules and regulations/ guidelines at any time, with or without prior notice, at the sole discretion of the school authorities. Decision of the Principal shall be final & binding.

24. Parents/ Guardians undertake to agree special instructions for Pre-Primary Classes:

a)  A child must be dropped in the class in the presence of the class teacher only, 10 minutes before the class, and picked up within 10 minutes after the class. Parents must leave the campus immediately after pick up and drop of the child.

b) For the safety of the students and effective management of other students’ activities, parents are not allowed to enter the campus to pick up their child earlier than 05 minutes prior to the dispersal time.

c) The child should be sent with a healthy lunch, a water bottle, a napkin, extra underpants and a handkerchief. All the belongings must be properly labelled.

d) Parents should inculcate cleanliness habits in their child and train him/her to answer the call of nature (Toilet Training).
